In this gently absurdist comedy, Gonzalo Tamayo finds himself navigating the baffling bureaucracy of the Catholic Church when he attempts to formally renounce his faith. Tomayo soon discovers that leaving the church is much easier said than done. This coming-of-age satire is told with a gentle nod to the Cohen Brothers' sensibility. The Apostate touches meaningfully on the crisis within the Catholic Church; a crisis that centers on the conflict between tradition and modernity.

"...a bone chillingly good time full of laughs and thrills." -- IndieWire

Oh, how far we've come from the dark days of rampant homophobia. But teenager Lloyd Cooper (Jason Dolley) may think society-or at least his mother-has progressed a bit too far on this topic. Lloyd's mother Maggie (Nia Vardalos: My Big Fat Greek Wedding 1 and 2) says she would not only accept a gay son, but actively encourages it, as it would be really cool to have one. In fact, Maggie becomes so convinced that Lloyd himself is gay that she outs him to his entire high school. Like any good helicopter mom, Maggie takes control of Lloyd's social life, setting Lloyd up on dates with boys whom she has approved. There's just one wrench in her grand plans: Lloyd doesn't even know whether he is gay or not! But, Maggie is willing to accept him whoever he is. Helicopter Mom is a hit festival comedy that explores the loving, yet prickly bonds between mother and son. (DVD Only)

DVD EXTRAS include a Behind the Scenes Featurette and a Commentary track.

Edoardo is suffering from a condition called phimosis -a painful condition in which the foreskin is too tight to be pulled back. He is also secretly dealing with the antics of his crazy friends and family - bickering parents with their own sexual issues, a sister obsessed with her dog's sexuality, his leering best friend Arturo, his pink haired alt neighbor Elisabetta, and his dream girl Bianca, who has decided to move to Paris. Featuring a star-making performance by young Matteo Creatini, Short Skin is a sex comedy with heart and soul. You'll never look at an octopus the same way again!

"Touching performance...a refreshing and casual sincerity..."

"This Italian coming-of-age tale is reminiscent of a Jason Reitman film, as it puts an insecure teenager at the forefront

but manages to interweave family drama and comedy in between."

Determined, but with no idea how to raise the money his mother needs, Drew follows the harebrained advice of his loyal, screwball best friend Brett (Danny Mooney).
